The RETF invites you to join us on   May 11th and 12th 7:00PM to 8:30PM for the showing of “A SUITABLE GIRL”, a film about the challenges facing Indian women in a patriarchal society. Shown over zoom in two parts, Wednesday and Thursday, with a discussion immediately following. Please register in advance by emailing Brenda Dodds brenda@ccsnj.org. The zoom link will be sent the morning of May 11th.

Additional events for Asian and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Month include Indian appetizers and tea, as well as Indian art during coffee hour on Sunday, May 15th after worship. Interested congregants can purchase nine pieces of art for viewing and sale, each sizes at 16x20. Half of the proceeds from the art will be donated to ‘Care India’ a 70-year-old nonprofit that works towards gender inequality and empowerment of women in India through education and other awareness programs  https://www.careindia.org and the other half will support Manish, our church member’s artistry to educate about Indian culture.
