In place of a full sermon the Christ Church Choir and guest musicians performed a work by Minister of Music Mark A Miller entitled “Let Justice Roll” based on readings from Dr Martin Luther King Jr’s Letter from Birmingham Jail. It was preceded by a short homily by Dr Rush offering some reflections on Dr. King and the long-term impact of Dr King’s work and the civil rights movement.
