2025-2026

Christ Church experienced a year of growth, celebration, and preparation for the future. We celebrated Rev. Chuck Rush’s 30th anniversary, launched a new church website, and began commemorating our 150th anniversary with plans for a year of special events.

Our ministries remained active through service trips to Namibia, Maine, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania, while music, arts, and outreach continued to thrive. The congregation also welcomed ministry intern Salia Kamara, whose work in worship, children’s ministry, and digital outreach enriched church life.

The year closed with a balanced budget and the most successful stewardship campaign in church history, providing a solid foundation for Christ Church’s ministries and mission in the years ahead.

2024-2025

With new mission trips at home and abroad, record stewardship giving, and the completion of our long-awaited organ, Christ Church Summit continues to live its mission of inclusion, compassion, and faith in action.

2023-2024

In 2023–24, Christ Church embraced a true post-pandemic resurgence, prioritizing in-person connection and shared experiences. Adult faith formation flourished through retreats, small-group gatherings, and new learning opportunities, while our service missions saw nearly forty youth and adults travel to communities from Alaska to Maine. We launched the Love and Faith Alliance (our LGBTQIA+ fellowship group), and revived beloved social traditions from Homecoming Weekend to the Progressive Dinner. Across worship, service, and community life, the year was marked by renewed energy, deeper relationships, and a vibrant sense of purpose.

2022-2023

In 2022–2023, Christ Church revitalized its arts programs and expanded opportunities for youth, rediscovering our rhythm of faith, fellowship, and service after years of change. We renewed our commitment to justice, compassion, and caring for our wider community.
