Giving

Christ Church runs on faith, community, and — yes — your generosity. Every gift, large or small, helps sustain the worship, programs, and outreach that make this community what it is.

2025 Service Reflections

Each year, Christ Church invites members and friends to make a pledge—a financial commitment that helps the church plan its annual budget. Your pledge represents the total amount you hope to give over the coming year, whether weekly, monthly, or in a single gift.

Pledges cover our operating budget for the coming year. They are vital to the maintenance/expansion of all our programs and to the support of our staff. Unlike many congregations, we rely entirely on the generosity of our members: no denominational subsidies and carry only a limited endowment. Your pledge makes the difference.

Seasons of Sharing (SOS)

Each year during Lent, Christ Church invites the congregation to participate in Seasons of Sharing (SOS)—a long-standing tradition of generosity that began more than seventy years ago. Instead of many small appeals throughout the year, SOS unites our giving into one powerful offering that supports those in crisis locally, nationally, and around the world.

Donations to SOS allow World Fellowship to respond quickly when emergencies arise—such as natural disasters, wars, or humanitarian crises—and to fund organizations working on long-term challenges like hunger, homelessness, and education. Every dollar given helps Christ Church live its call to compassion in action.

Planned and special gifts allow members and friends to support Christ Church beyond their annual giving. These gifts strengthen our foundation, ensure long-term stability, and help our ministries flourish far into the future. Whether made during your lifetime or through your estate, your generosity leaves a lasting legacy of faith, service, and community.

Ways to Give:

  • Bequests and Estate Gifts: Include Christ Church in your will or living trust—no minimum required.

  • Gifts of Stock or Appreciated Assets: Donate securities or property to maximize your impact and potential tax advantages.
  • IRA or Life Insurance Gifts: Name Christ Church as a beneficiary for a simple way to extend your giving legacy.

  • Endowed Gifts: Create a lasting tribute to loved ones through designated funds.
